LI-V journeys with pregnant moms in crisis, with real friendship, real resources, and real hope, through pregnancy and long after birth. Whatever you are facing, you do not have to face it alone.
These aren't LI-V's own numbers. They're what national research shows about the women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy, and they're why we do what we do.
Whether you are going through a hard season or you want to be the hands and feet for someone who is, LI-V has a place for you.
LI-V, Life Initiatives and Values, is a faith-based ministry that connects pregnant moms in crisis, and moms needing a post-abortion referral, with the churches and communities ready to be a friend to them. We believe every life has dignity and purpose, and that real love shows up with real help. Moms who come to us while pregnant are connected to a pregnancy center and guided toward a place of stability through real friendship, referrals to countless resources, and limited financial assistance where needed. We stay with moms through pregnancy, after birth, and for as long as it takes!
We started with 8 people around a table. Now 80 to 100 people gather every month united around one conviction: compassion is not just a feeling. It is a decision to show up.
"Who is my neighbor? He saw him and had compassion.
Which one was a neighbor? The one who showed mercy."
Every number represents a real person, a real family, a real moment where compassion showed up and changed everything.
The women and families we support are not statistics. They are neighbors, daughters, and mothers who needed someone to show up, and we did.
To frame the life issue in prayer, service, and love, equipping churches and communities to be there for moms and families with compassion that actually shows up.
LI-V is a bridge. Between a mom in crisis and a church ready to help.
Between good intentions and tangible action steps.
Between a heartbeat and hope.
From the moment a mom reaches out to long after her baby arrives, LI-V is there with practical help, lasting friendship,
and a community that stays.
